Colchester have struggled in League Two for the last three seasons, finishing 15th once and 20th twice. This season, they somehow survived. Yes, they still haven't clinched survival mathematically, but in order to get relegated, they would have to lose both remaining games and 23rd Sutton to win the last game vs MK Dons at home. Additionally, Colchester have a seven-goal difference advantage, which is the tiebreaker, so we highly doubt the U's will play in the fifth tier next season.
Doncaster were relegated in the 2021/22 season and had a really poor following season, where they finished 18th. They also entered this season terribly as they were in the lower part of the season for the majority of the season. However, the last third of the season has been nothing less than impressive, winning ten of the last 11 games in League Two! Now they are in a superb position to secure playoffs as they are leveled on a point with 7th-placed Crawley but with a game fewer. In fact, with a big win vs Colchester, Doncaster would potentially move to 5th place!
Colchester vs Doncaster pick: Doncaster to (AH 0) win
Colchester had a really poor season, losing 22 of 44 games in League Two. But if we take a closer look at their record against the top seven teams, we can see that they were even worse, losing nine of 12 matches - 75%!
Doncaster are the hottest team in the league for a while now. If we would look at only the last 20 rounds, the Rovers would comfortably sit at the top of the league! Right now, they are on a nine-game winning streak, and we believe them against anyone in League Two.
In the first h2h game, Doncaster won 3:1. Considering all the above, we believe Doncaster is much closer to winning the game and securing the playoffs.

Colchester team news
After a 1:0 loss to Notts County, coach Danny Cowley spoke to the media. He admitted it was a tough loss, pointing out their busy schedule and how injuries and suspensions had hurt them. He also mentioned they lacked the necessary strength and intensity during the game.
Colchester needs only one point in the remaining two matches to secure survival. The U's will play both games at home.

Doncaster team news
After a ninth win in a row (4:2 vs. Barrow), coach Grant McCann spoke to the media. He said the game could go either way because of their poor performance in the first half, which they lost 2:0. Still, he was convinced they could turn things around after the first goal, and they truly did.
In the post-game conference, the coach mentioned that he was booked and will be suspended for the upcoming game vs Colchester.
