Champions League action returns to SIGNAL IDUNA PARK on Wednesday evening as Borussia Dortmund and PSV lock horns with a place in the quarter-finals up for grabs.

Following a competitive 1:1 draw in last week´s first leg, this tie remains evenly poised and while Dortmund are favourites, an on-form PSV cannot be discounted.

PSV arrive in Germany after a hard-fought 1:0 win at Go Ahead Eagles in the Eredivisie over the weekend. Enjoying a near-perfect domestic campaign, Petr Bosz´s side remain unbeaten in 25 league games played this season, with only six points dropped. Ten clear of Feyenoord in second place, PSV can focus their attention on the big prize on offer this week.

Dortmund come into Wednesday's crunch contest also in good form after back-to-back road victories against Union Berlin and Werder Bremen over the past ten days. Edin Terzic´s side had won just one of their five previous matches prior to their recent uptick in fortunes.

At SIGNAL IDUNA PARK, Dortmund´s form has been mixed in recent months. BVB have won just four of their last ten home fixtures, while they slipped to a 3:2 defeat against Hoffenheim in their most recent game in front of their own support. Short on clean sheets, Terzic´s side have seen BTTS in seven of their last eight home fixtures and that outcome has to be fancied again given PSV´s fine form this season.

On their travels, PSV have a consistent record of seeing BTTS, particularly in this competitions. Only three of their last 15 away UCL assignments did not see both teams net. PSV also bagged at least two goals in four of their six away UCL matches.

Given Dortmund´s inconsistencies at home, it's tough to make a clear case for the hosts to win. Instead, I´ll take BTTS in a game that really could go either way.
