An in-form Barcelona can secure their place in the Champions League semi-finals when they host PSG at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys on Tuesday.

Barcelona come into Tuesday's second leg as favourites to qualify for the UCL semi-finals after a dramatic and thrilling 3:2 win in Paris last week. Despite falling behind in the second period, goals from Raphina and Andres Christensen sealed a massive victory for the Catalans at the Parc des Princes. 

Having failed to qualify for the UCL semi-final stage since 2019 and now boasting a one-goal advantage, the hosts will be confident of securing their place in the final four. Xavi´s side have won each of their last seven matches including a narrow 1:0 win at Cadiz over the weekend. 

While La Blaugrana are justifiable favourites, it would be unwise to dismiss the challenge of a PSG side that has won eight of their last nine away matches across all competitions. Luis Enrique´s men have won each of their last three fixtures on their travels, including an impressive 6:2 win at Montpellier last month. PSG also claimed their place in the UCL quarter finals with a 2:1 road win against Real Sociedad in San Sebastian last month. 

Given PSG´s need for a win on Tuesday, we can expect the Parisiens to get on the front foot, and I expect an open contest with plenty of goal-scoring chances. Both teams have posted consistent numbers in the goal markets in this competition, and we should be confident of seeing BTTS and over 2.5 goals scored in Catalonia.

Barcelona have seen both outcomes in each of their last three UCL games at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, while six of their last seven in Europe's premier competition also saw BTTS. Similarly, PSG have seen both outcomes in eight of their last 11 away road games in the Champions League.

Previous results between these sides add further confidence to our selections. Nine of their last 11 UCL contests saw BTTS while eight also saw at least three goals netted. Both outcomes are tipped to land in a game where we could see four goals or more.
