Arsenal come into Tuesday's UCL quarter-final tie high on spirits after a commanding 3:0 win at Brighton on Saturday. Mikel Arteta´s side are now unbeaten in seven games since a 1:0 loss at Porto in the first-leg of their Champions League round of sixteen tie. Following that defeat, the Gunners have wracked up six wins from seven with 18 goals scored in the process.

At the Emirates, Arsenal have won each of their last six matches including massive victories against Liverpool and Porto. Most recently, Arteta´s side eased to a 2:0 win against Luton. 

Unbeaten in four home games played in the Champions League this season, the Gunners last defeat in London in this competition was a 5:1 thrashing against Bayern in 2017. However, a repeat of that scoreline is surely an improbability given the Germans recent form.

Bayern make the trip to England after another disastrous defeat in the Bundesliga on Saturday. Despite taking a 2:0 lead on the road at Heidenheim, Thomas Tuchel´side conceded three second-half goals to slip to a remarkable loss. Bayern have now lost five of their last ten matches and four of their last six on their travels, and must find some form if they are to avoid a first-leg defeat on Tuesday.

While Bayern do have more experience at this level of European competition, Arsenal´s recent form suggests a home win has to be expected on Tuesday.
