On Monday evening, the worst team in the Superliga Championship group will welcome the title-chasing Midtjylland at Jysk Park in Silkeborg.

Silkeborg are the worst team in the Championship Group, and with 29 points in 26 rounds, they cannot reach the top three places and secure Europe. Currently, that deficit is 20 points! However, Silkeborg have an alternative route to secure Europe as they reached the Cup finals, where they will face off against Aarhus on May 9th. So, these remaining games in the league have no meaning for Silkeborg, and we do not expect them to give their maximum. 

Midtjylland were mostly among the best teams in Denmark in recent years. But that was not the case last year, as they ended up in the Relegation Group. This year, they are back on track and are challenging for the title. The Wolves are entering this match with a massive motive. After winning only one point in the last two games against the title contenders Brondby and FC Copenhagen, they slipped to 2nd place and are three points away from the top spot. So, this match is a must-win.

Silkeborg have been terrible since the winter break. Since then, they have won just one game in the Cup against Federicia - a second-tier team! Lately, things have gone from bad to worse, as they lost three in a row without even scoring a goal!

Although Midtjylland won just one point in the last two games vs FC Copenhagen and Brondby, they definitely deserved more from those matches. They are a much better team and those poor results came against very good teams, much better than Silkeborg. 

In the first two h2h games, it was obvious that Midtjylland are a much better team, as they dominated in both matches and won with a 6:1 goal difference. Considering what we have seen from these teams this year, the last h2h games, along with a massive difference in motive, we strongly believe that Midtjylland should secure a comfortable win.
