PSG vs Le Havre prediction 27.04.2024

PSG are dominating the domestic league, winning nine titles in the last eleven years! However, their main goal of winning the Champions League is still unreachable. This year, they are once again the best team in France, currently 11 points above the 2nd-placed Monaco. With only four rounds to go, it is almost impossible for them to lose the title. In the Champions League, PSG are also having a good season so far and will have the most important match of the year against Dortmund in the Semi-finals just four days after the Le Havre game. So, coach Luis Enrique is expected to rest his key players and keep them fresh for the CL clash. 

On the other hand, Le Havre managed to secure a return to Ligue 1 this year after 14 years of waiting. Even though they had some success in the early part of the season, their results declined in the later part of the season. Right now, they are in 16th place, which leads to a relegation playout. Still, they are only one point away from the safe zone and only two points from direct relegation, so every single point is massive at this stage. We will probably see a relegation battle until the last second of the season.

PSG will surely rotate the squad for this match because it is almost impossible for them to lose the title. However, they've done that against Liorient and still won 4:1 away from home. They are super dominant in France, losing only once in 30 Ligue 1 rounds, and are in excellent form with three wins by 4:1 in a row against Barcelona, Lyon, and Lorient. 

Le Havre is in absolutely terrible form, having lost nine of the last eleven matches! So, even though they have a much bigger motive, and even if PSG rotates the squad, we do not believe in them. 

In the previous eight h2h matchups, PSG won every time while covering the spread of -1.5 in the last five. Considering all the above, we think PSG should secure another comfortable win at Parc des Princes.
