Since returning to the Swedish top-flight division, Mjallby has mostly been a mid-table team. Last year, they finished 10th, but with 41 points in 30 rounds, they were much closer to the European spots than the relegation zone. This year, they had a good start as they reached the Svenska Cupen Quarter Finals but eventually lost to AIK in a very close match. In the Allsvenskan, after an excellent start where they won seven points in the first three games against excellent competition, they lost back-to-back games. Now, they need to respond and win at home against struggling Kalmar. 

Kalmar had three very good years, finishing fourth and sixth (twice). However, this year, the Red Brothers started the season terribly, as they are the last-placed team in the league with only three points in five rounds. In the Cup, they weren't much better, finishing the competition as the third-placed team in Group 6 with AIK and two Supperettan teams - Gefle and Orebro.

If we count the Cup games as well, Mjallby scored in all nine games this season, so a goal at home against a struggling Kalmar is a very real scenario. However, we do not believe in Mjallby's defense after conceding four goals in the last two games against mediocre teams - GAIS and Vasteras. 

Kalmar are the best team in Allsvenskan for this type of bet, with four of five games this season ending with both teams scoring. If we count the Cup games as well, they are six of eight - 75%. Even though they are in terrible form, we do not think they are as bad as the stats represent, and we believe they can score at least once.
