Bristol City are playing their ninth consecutive season in the Championship, where they were mostly in the lower part of the league's table. Still, the Robins were not really in danger of getting relegated, as they managed to win that magical number of 50+ points, which in most seasons means survival. This year, they are having an OK season, and it seems that they cemented a mid-table finish since they are 13 points away from the playoffs spot and 12 away from the danger zone. 

Blackburn flirted with the playoffs in the last two seasons, but this one has been an absolute disaster. In fact, the first part of the season was solid as they were in 7th place after the first 19 rounds, but after that, they really struggled and dropped in the standings. At this moment, the Rovers are 16th, but with only four points above the danger zone. Their remaining matches promise a fierce battle for survival, so we expect a fight for survival until the last second of the season. 

Bristol City vs Blackburn pick: Under 2.5 goals

With 44 scored goals in 41 rounds, Bristol City are the sixth-worst offensive team in the Championship. Still, good defensive performances keep them fairly high on the league's table. Because of poor offense and solid defense, Bristol City are the best team in the Championship for this type of bet, as 63.4% of their Championship games finished with fewer than three goals. 

On the other hand, Blackburn were not good for this bet for most of the season. But after the arrival of the new coach in February, that changed immediately, and the Rovers were under 2.5 goals in nine of 12 games in all competitions!
