An entertaining Bundesliga contest is expected at the BayArena between the newly crowned champions and their Champions League chasing visitors. 

Leverkusen maintained their incredible unbeaten run with a dramatic 97th minute equaliser securing a 1:1 draw at Dortmund last Sunday. Xabi Alonson´s side have not lost since a Bundesliga defeat at Bochum in May 2023!

Unbeaten in 46 competitive games over the past year, Bayer boast a massive 14 point advantage having already claimed the title two weeks ago. With a German Cup final and a place in the Europa League final within their grasp, Alonso´s men could yet complete an historic treble in what is already the most successful season in their history.

Bayer face a Europa League semi-final first-leg against Roma next week and while the hosts could be tempted to rest some star players, preserving the unbeaten run will be on Alonso´s mind coming into this fixture.

Leverkusen can expect a tough game this weekend, with visiting Stuttgart in desperate need of a positive result after their 2:1 loss at Werder Bremen last Sunday. Still sitting third in the division, VFB find themselves four points above RB Leipzig, and six points above fifth placed Dortmund in the race for a top four spot.
