This season, the remaining eight teams in the Europa League are fantastic and worthy of the Champions League Finish. One of the quarter-final duels is between the two Italian powerhouses, AC Milan and AS Roma. 

AC Milan ended up in the Europa League after finishing 3rd in the Champions League "death" group F. In fact, they were on level with points with PSG, but due to worse h2h stats, they finished 3rd. In Serie A, Rossoneri were also unlucky because they were playing a really good season, which could, in some years, mean the battle for Scudetto. Unfortunately for them, their city rival, Inter, is playing an otherworldly season in Serie A and have an 11-point advantage with a game less played. So, Rossoneri's best chance of securing the title is through the EL. 

AS Roma have struggled to break in the top four and secure the Champions League in the last five years. Not even the "Special One" managed to secure them that. However, they did have success in Europe under him, winning the Europa Conference League and reaching the Europa League Finals last year. However, they once again had a poor season in Serie A, and the club decided to sack Jose Mourinho. To everyone's surprise, that was the right call, as they went on a remarkable run. Right now, they are in 5th place, only three away from the desired 4th place! 

AC Milan vs AS Roma pick: AC Milan to win

AC Milan is in superb form, winning seven in a row. At San Siro, they have been excellent throughout the season, winning 15 of 22 matches. In the EL knockout phase, they were superb at home, easily beating Slavia Prague and Rennes with a combined goal difference of 7:3. 

AS Roma have lost just once in the last 11 games in all competitions. However, their best games came at home, not away from it. In the previous three road games against Lecce, Brighton, and Fiorentina, they won just two points, and, to be fair, all three opponents outplayed them.

In the previous two h2h games this season, AC Milan won 2:1 and 3:1. Additionally, the last time AS Roma recorded a win was almost five years ago, back in October 2019. Considering all the above, we believe Rossoneri should secure a comfortable win in this EL duel.
