Switzerland Preview, Predictions, Players and Stats

Switzerland have played very well in their qualification campaign, but their group is pretty tough. They will play in Group E with Brazil, Costa Rica and Serbia and looks like any of these four nations have a chance to go through. Here's everything you need to know about the team:

Placed in Group B of European qualifying Switzerland finished second after winning nine out of ten qualification games. Then had to face Northern Ireland in the playoffs and they are here. The Nati have a talented squad on the World Cup 2018 and all of them are highly motivated to reach Round of 16. To beat Brazil will be nearly impossible, so they'll have to do well against Costa Rica and Serbia. The quarter-finals are a realistic goal and will do their best to play well organised in midfield and aggressive in attack.

Switzerland Prediction and Expectations on World Cup 2018

Switzerland are placed in a tough group and together with Costa Rica and Serbia will battle for the second spot in Group E. Their first round game will be a true test, but they don't have lots of chances to pick up some points against Brazil, one of the main pretender to lift the trophy this summer. In the second round they play against Serbia and it will be their most important game in group phase. It will be a true football fight and we expect lots of fouls and yellows.
