Mexico Preview, Predictions, Players and Stats

Mexico was eliminated at the round of 16 in their last six World Cups and now they are highly motivated to reach quarter-finals. They have high expectations from this tournament, they have pretty good chances to go through from the Group F and all players are eager to collect at least six points in the group stage. Here's everything you need to know about the team:

Mexico have some serious quality and they will fight for the first spot in Group F. El Tri is placed in Group F alongside Germany, Sweden and the Korea Republic and all expect from them to compete for one of the top two places in the group. They finished first in CONCACAF qualifying and for sure they are no team to underestimate. Mexico finished that stage first with five points ahead of second-placed Costa Rica. Germany and Mexico met in the semi-final of the FIFA Confederations Cup Russia in June 2017, and Germany have won that game.

Mexico Prediction and Expectations on World Cup 2018

Mexico have good chances to reach Round of 16 and match with Sweden will be very important for them. It is a game in the Matchday 3 and they need at least three points before that game. For sure they have a high ambitions for the match against Germany and will play aggressive from the first minute in opening game. Mexico has made it out of the group stage in every World Cup it has participated in since 1986, and they will try to do that once again. We expect from them to play aggressive in midfield and believe they will collect lot of yellows in group phase, especially in the first and third round.
