Having blasted four away against Wolfsberger overnight to essentially seal their place in the Europa League last-16 with next week's second leg still to play, Jose Mourinho's Tottenham needs a jolt of energy domestically.  

Their 3-0 defeat by Premier League leaders Manchester City on February 13 means they had lost five of their last six, including four in five top-flight games.

David Moyes' West Ham sit four places and six points above them in fifth, though many believe the Hammers have overachieved, and it's only a matter of time before things start to level out as the second half of the campaign unfolds.

After an extra-time FA Cup exit by Manchester United on February 9, West Ham put three past strugglers Sheffield United - who seem increasingly destined for relegation. Declan Rice opened the scoring just before half-time with a penalty, while defensive duo Issa Diop and Ryan Fredericks both scored second-half strikes. 

It was their sixth clean sheet of 2021, Spurs have four by contrast but largely against weaker opposition - two in cup competitions. They look vulnerable defensively, as evidenced by how Everton scored five past them in a frantic 5-4 FA Cup loss on Feb. 10. 

Gareth Bale had a first-half goal and assisted overnight, teeing up Heung-Min Son before leaving fullback Jonathan Scherzer for the dead to finish expertly at the near post. Will he be rewarded with a start?
