New Orleans Pelicans
104 : 106
Utah Jazz and NO Pelicans will open NBA season restart. After more then 4 months break the strongest basketball league in the world is being played again. It is certain that betting fans look forward to it. The NBA league has always brought a lot of betting excitement. This is fairly even matchup and the odds do not vary much on either side. I would like to set preview and short h2h analyse for this more then interesting clash.
Utah Jazz vs New Orleans Pelicans Head to Head
Under normal circumstances, Jazz should be the favourite here. However, it should be taken into account that Utah was left without the help of one of the best players this season, Bojan Bogdanovic, who ended the season due to injury, and I expect that this will have a big impact on their results. He was having the best season so far in his career scoring 20 points per game on average and shooting over 40 percent for 3 points. A major drawback, no doubt. Utah relies heavily on the effect of Donovan Mitchell outside and Rudy Gobert in the paint, so a big burden will fall on them now. Conley - Mitchell - Ingles - O’Neale - Gobert is the most possible line up for Jazz in this game.
On the other side, the Pelicans played three warm-up/preparation games fantastically, in which they recorded all convincing victories, including the one against the current best team so far the Milwaukee Bucks. This team still has a chance for the 8th place and the playoffs, and I believe that they intended to achieve that result. There is some information that rookie star Zion Williamson could miss this match due to an injury that still makes him dig, but I don't think that will be the case, so I expect New Orleans to start with the strongest five: Ball - Holiday - Ingram - Williamson- Favors
Utah Jazz vs New Orleans Pelicans Preview
Considering the youth and freshness, as well as the motivation of the Pelicans, I think that this team has a small advantage and that they can use good miss-match variants against rivals. Also, it is worth mentioning that NO has a much better bench. Let’s say there’s a great shooter JJ. Redick that can easily come up from the bench and hit a couple of threes in a row. All in all I am taking NO here and currently best odds for the home team to win are at 22bet @1.80
