PSG vs Manchester United Prediction, Betting Tips and Preview

This Wednesday, two European giants will face off at the Le Parc des Princes. PSG will host Manchester United in the second leg of the best of 16 knock-out phase. One thing is certain, they will give it their best in order to secure a win and a place in the next part of the competition.

PSG have finished their Champions League group campaign at the first spot of Group C with eleven points from three wins, two draws, and a single loss. This is Paris's seventh consecutive Champions League campaign and they've reached the round of 16 on each occasion.

Manchester United are coming into this match after having finished second in Group H with ten points from three wins, a draw, and two losses. It will be interesting to see how the team plays in the Champions League after the managerial change. Getting a win here will be coach Solskjær's biggest challenge to this date. This is their 11th appearance in the round of 16 (six wins, four losses), and their 18th participation in the UEFA Champions League knockout stage overall. Solskjaer has announced that Anthony Martial will not play against PSG. The club does not want to risk aggravating his injury, which means Man United will be missing 10 players in Paris.

The two sides have played just two matches in their history. The first one came in 2015 in the International Champions Cup when PSG triumphed by the score of 0-2 and the second took place a few weeks ago in the first leg of the tie. The clash was a physical one and in it, the referee had to show ten yellow cards. United managed to hold off the mighty French attack until the middle of the second half when in just a few minutes Kimpembe and Mbappe scored a goal each and with them secured the win.
