  • Venue: Stadion Kazimierza Gorskiego (Plock)

Since returning to the first football league of Poland, Wisla Plock has stabilized and in recent years belongs to the company of standard first league players. Their survival was never in question, but at the same time, they are far from the positions that leads in Europe. The club from Plock, however, left a rather weak impression in the course of the Polish championship so far, so at the moment they are much closer to the relegation zone (only five points compared to the first most threatened team), than to the European places - 11 points .

Warta Poznan, a club that was in the third class a decade ago, has now become a stable member of the elite rank of Polish football. The popular "The Greens" are playing incomparably better this season compared to the previous one and have a chance to even secure the European autumn. After 22 rounds, the club from Poznan has accumulated 33 points on its account, which leaves them in a respectable seventh position in the table, just six points behind third-placed Lech, who are first over the line.

Wisla Plock vs Warta Poznan Betting Tips: AH2 (0)

In a duel between clubs with similar playing staff and potential, few could have expected that The Oilers would not only catch all the spoils, but wipe the field with Warta in a convincing 4-0 triumph. Now, the club from Poznan will hope to will retaliate with the same measure. Not in the result, but in the sense of winning all three points.

What we can notice is that The Greens have found the right recipe for Wisla in recent years. Namely, since the return to the Ekstraklasa, Warta has visited Wisla twice and both meetings they solved in their favor in a routine way (3-1 and 3-0), not to mention that they are undefeated in the last 15 years on that ground.

It seemed that the winter break for Wisla came at the right time, but the club from Plock in the spring part of the season looks even worse, completely amateurish, as if they forgot to play football. The popular The Oilers have a one hundred percent performance, but in a negative context - they experienced defeat in all five games in 2023.

In fact, Wisla is the only team without a single point won since the start of the second part of the Ekstraklasa season, and it seems that the light at the end of the tunnel is still not smiling on them. Pavol Stanol does not know if the bigger problems are in defense or attack. The forward line is literally unnoticeable with only one goal scored.

Warta, meanwhile, is flying high in recent weeks. After winning only one point from the opening two rounds in the spring part, the club from Poznan furiously returned to winning mode. First, they outclassed Korona at home with 5-1, and then Widzew Lodz with 2-0, so their confidence is huge before visiting Wisla in Plock.

The Greens from Poznań will do everything to deepen the pit in which their rival (Wisla) is currently and continue to rush towards the European positions. Indeed, at the moment, Warta is a much better team in every view, so it is quite certain that Wisla will look for the first points in 2023 in another game.
