Two of the Premier League´s strugglers come together for a crucial relegation six-pointer on Saturday as West Ham host Everton at the London Stadium.

Locked together on 15 points now halfway through the season, both teams find themselves in the drop zone with respective Head Coaches Moyes and Lampard very much under pressure coming into this huge fixture.

West Ham vs Everton Betting Tips: Under 2.5 goals

While there can be little doubt that both teams are enduring miserable campaigns, having won just four and three games respectively, the bottom half of the Premier League remains tightly condensed, with only two points separating Leeds in 14th and bottom of the table Southampton.

As such, both teams, while feeling the heat from their respective sets of diehard supports, remain just a couple of wins from feeling that much better about life. However, both teams have struggled for points, let alone victories, with the Hammers taking just two draws in their last seven matches and the Toffees managing only a solitary point.

Given that dismal form and the pressure both teams are under, it would be fair to assume that we should expect a particularly tight contest between two sides desperate to avoid defeat. While a win would certainly prove a major shot in the arm for either side, it´s difficult to make a strong case for a welcome victory for either Moyes or Lampard. 

Both teams have managed just four goals in their previous seven PL matches, and with that, we expect a tight, tense and low-scoring encounter where goals and chances are likely to be at a premium. 

Four of the last five meetings between these sides have seen exactly one goal scored. In addition, three of the last four meetings in London finished with under 2.5 goals scored, and a similar outcome looks likely come six o´clock on Saturday afternoon.
