This season became the best in Toulouse's history by winning the first major trophy in the club's history. Just about a half month ago, they secured it by winning 5:1 against Nantes. Since this is their first season after spending two years in League 2, this success is even more significant.

After a 0:0 draw with Ajaccio, coach Philippe Montanier spoke to the media. He said it was a disappointing result because they had a dozen shots and five on target. He also said they dominated the game but lacked efficiency and an "offensive spark."
For this match, coach Montanier will miss just Rhys Healey. Due to an ACL injury, the forward missed almost the entire season. He is close to making a return but will not play against Nantes.
