The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium plays host to a hugely intriguing North London derby on Sunday as Spurs host Arsenal in the Premier League.
Now five points clear at the top of the division following a goal-less draw with Newcastle, Mikel Arteta´s side will be desperate for a return to winning form against their greatest rivals, who enter this fixture on the back of successive wins against Crystal Palace and Portsmouth.
Tottenham vs Arsenal Betting Tips - BTTS and over 2.5 goals (Kane to score Anytime)
Currently 11 points behind Arsenal in 5th place, Spurs remain in the hunt for Champions League qualification, with Newcastle and Man Utd both within two points of the home side.
Having enjoyed a fine seven-match winning stretch on home soil since the back end of last season, Spurs recent league form at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is less than convincing, with three defeats in their last four. Defensive issues have been the main problem for Antonio Conte´s side, with the Lilywhites leaking at least two goals or more in each of their last four.
With that in mind, Mikel Arteta´s free-flowing Gunners will fancy their chances of returning home with all three points in the bag. Arsenal have won seven of their last nine away PL matches, including each of the last three. Still, it should be noted that the Gunners have lost their only match against a side currently inside the top seven, that coming at Old Trafford back in September.
Indeed, while deserved favourites on recent form, Arsenal have lost each of their last three matches against Spurs at the TH Stadium, including a 3:0 thrashing in their last meeting back in May. Spurs have actually won five of their last six home league matches against Arsenal since 2017, while Arteta´s side have failed to score on their last three visits to this venue.
Ultimately, it´s hard to see the Gunners drawing a blank here, with the league leaders scoring at least one goal in all nine away PL matches this season and Spurs conceding 2 or more in five of their last six on home soil.
However, Spurs excellent home record against their great rivals suggests we should expect goals at both ends in what is likely to prove a fascinating duel between two great rivals. As such, we´re taking the BTTS and over 2.5 goal selections with the double priced at even money (at the time of writing).
