A dead-rubber Euro 2024 qualifier takes place at Friends Arena on Sunday as Sweden hosts Estonia in Solna.
Sweden vs Estonia Betting Tips: Sweden to win / Under 3.5 goals
Sweden have endured a disastrous qualification campaign having taken just seven points from seven matches played in Group F. Four defeats from seven matches including a miserable 3-0 loss at Azerbaijan on Thursday leaves the Swedes ten points behind an already qualified Belgium and 12-points short of group leaders Austria.
However, despite the misery of this campaign, the Swedish support will still expect a home win on Sunday against bottom-of-the-group Estonia.
Estonia makes the short journey to Solna having taken just one point from seven qualification games including a 2:0 home loss against Austria on Thursday. A tough year has seen the Estonians lose seven of their last eight matches including a 5-0 defeat against Sweden earlier this year.
On the road, Estonia also crashed to a 5:0 defeat in Belgium but did put up a better fight in their 2:1 defeat at Austria. Considering the Swedes' lack of morale, the Estonians will surely have a chance to at least keep the score low on Sunday.
Ultimately, while Sweden should still be expected to finish their campaign with a win, I don´t expect them to deliver a high-scoring victory. With that in mind, I´m taking under 3.5 goals as my best pick for this likely low-key Euro 2024 qualifier in Solna.
