An on-form Blackburn could make it five Championship victories in a row when they take on Stoke at the bet365 Stadium on Friday.

The visiting Rovers have enjoyed a superb run of results, which has not only seen them rise to fourth in the Championship and inside the playoff positions, but also reach the FA Cup quarter-finals with a fantastic away win at Premier League side Leicester.

However, Blackburn should expect a stiff test of their promotion credentials at the bet365 Stadium, with hosts Stoke enjoying a superb 5:1 win at Sunderland last weekend to make it three wins in their last five league games.

Stoke vs Blackburn Betting Tips - Blackburn or draw/Under 3.5 goals

Now unbeaten in their last ten matches, Blackburn have lost just one of 14 fixtures in 2023 and appears to be finding form at just the right point of the season.

With just 11 games remaining in the campaign, Rovers find themselves with a four-point cushion on the sides currently outside of the playoff spots however, they remain some six points short of an automatic promotion place, having played a game more than Sheffield Utd, currently second behind runaway leaders Burnley.

Blackburn have done most of their best work at Ewood Park, though, with the Rovers only able to win two of their last nine away league matches. Of course, they did score a fine win at Leicester in the FA Cup in February and remain unbeaten in their last six on their travels. Five of those matches also saw BTTS.

Hosts Stoke have endured an inconsistent campaign, with their recent results at the bet365 Stadium not the most impressive. Losing five of their last ten home matches, the Potters have won only five of 17 home league games this season. Of those 17, only five games saw BTTS, while just seven saw over 2.5 goals scored.

Given that inconsistency, it´s hard to have too much confidence in any of the goal market selections although recent meetings between these sides have been tight, with under 2.5 goals scored in each of their last six contests since February 2020.

Considering their excellent form in 2023, Blackburn not to lose with under 3.5 match goals could be a good combination bet for this Championship contest, with the visitors capable of returning home with at least a point in a fixture that usually proves tight and low-scoring.
