Rangers complete their Premiership campaign when they take on St. Mirren at St. Mirren Park on Saturday,

St. Mirren vs Rangers Betting Tips: BTTS and over 2.5 goals

Having enjoyed an excellent season which saw them finish inside the top six of the division, St Mirren´s form has nosedived in recent weeks. Losing four while failing to win any of their previous six games, the hosts suffered a heavy 3:0 loss at Aberdeen on Wednesday, having been reduced to ten men in the first half.

Still, St Mirren remains a tough foe on home soil, with the Buddies losing only three of their last 17 games in Paisley. Winning nine of those games, Stephen Robinson´s side have already held Rangers to a draw at this venue earlier this season while they picked up back-to-back 2:2 draws on their travels against both Celtic and Hearts in recent weeks.

Rangers, for their part, were left frustrated by a stoppage-time equaliser against Hearts on Wednesday, but the visitors remain in good form, having won nine of their last 11 on the road. Like their city rivals, Celtic, Rangers have also struggled for clean sheets this season, particularly in away matches. On their travels, Michael Beale´s side have conceded at least one goal in 10 of their last 14 away from Ibrox, including each of the last five.  The Gers have also conceded in two of their last three away matches against St-Mirren, while they also leaked twice in a recent 5:2 win against the Buddies at Ibrox in April.

Ultimately, a Rangers victory is likely considering their fine form over the past couple of months however defensive vulnerabilities remain and with that, we expect a competitive St Mirren side to at least get themselves on the scoresheet. Rangers have seen BTTS in nine of 14 away games this season, and with Beale expected to rotate his squad, we should anticipate an entertaining contest with goals likely at both ends.
