Still second in the group behind runaway leaders Scotland, Spain comes into this contest after a sensational 7-1 away win at Georgia on Friday.

Having more than 30 shots on goal against the ragged Georgians- the most they had achieved in a match in over 15 years - the Spaniards will be fancied to run up another big win in Granada. 

Two points ahead of Norway but nine behind the surprise section pace-setters, Spain must win if they are to maintain hopes of catching Scotland and to put some distance between themselves and qualification rivals Norway. 

Having already lost in Scotland, Spain can ill-afford any slip-ups if they are to live up to their status as top seeds in the section. 

Of course, given the confidence-boosting nature of that stunning win in Tbilisi, Spain should have little problem in dispatching a Cyprus team that fell to a heavy 3:0 home reversal against the marvellous Scots.

Historically, Spain have dominated this fixture, although they have not met since Spain scored a thumping 8-0 win back in 1999. The hosts have scored at least five goals in all four previous home victories against the Cypriots, and a similarly high-scoring victory is expected on Tuesday.

I´m backing Luis de la Fuente´s side to claim a dominant home win, with Cyprus unlikely to provide much resistance to a side that scored seven on Friday.
