SJK vs FC Inter Turku prediction 10.06.2026 | Suomen Cup

SJK come into Wednesday’s Suomen Cup contest looking to bounce back from a narrow 3:2 defeat at Gnistan at the end of May. Gospel Chibueze Junior Onuoha’s third goal of the season proved consolation only as Jarkko Wiss’s side slipped to another Veikkausliiga defeat.

The home side have struggled to find much form in the Finnish top flight, and have now failed to win their last five fixtures, including three successive defeats.

Nine games into their season, SJK sit second bottom of the division with only six points on the board.

The hosts have been involved in several high-scoring outcomes this season. Four of their last five games finished with at least three goals scored, with an average of 3.6 goals per game scored in those fixtures. 

Head coach Wiss has one confirmed absentee this week. Albin Björkskog misses out with a knee injury.

FC Inter Turku make the trip to OmaSp Stadion after picking up a point in a 1:1 Veikkausliiga draw at KuPS at the end of May. Alie Conteh opened the scoring with his fifth goal of the season before Jamie Moreno’s leveller ensured a share of the spoils at Savon Sanomat Areena.

Vesa Vasara’s men have been in superb form, winning six successive fixtures before the stalemate at KuPS ten days ago. Inter sit at the top of the Veikkausliiga with seven wins and just one defeat recorded in 11 games completed.

Like the home side, high-scoring outcomes have been frequent. FC Inter have seen over 2.5 goals scored in five of their last six games. An average of 2.8 goals per game were scored in the visitors last five road fixtures. 

Past meetings between these sides have been similarly entertaining. At least three goals were scored in all but one of the last ten encounters between SJK and FC Inter Turku. 

Head coach Vasara has no reported injury issues this week.
