Sevilla will be looking to continue their impressive European form of the 2022-23 campaign when they host RC Lens on Wednesday night.
The hosts, Sevilla, had a season to forget in La Liga last season. Los Nervionenses finished the season in 12th place, their worst result in the Spanish top flight since 1999, when they finished 20th and were relegated. José Luis Mendilibar's men were however excellent in Europe, winning the Europa League for the seventh time. The reward for that was a place in the group stage of the Champions League for this season but the question will be ''can they make good use of this opportunity?''.
Lens meanwhile had a memorable season in France last season. The blue and golds battled with PSG for the Ligue 1 title right up to the last Matchday and finished the season just one point off the top of the table. Unfortunately, after the departures of numerous key players, things look different at the moment.

Sevilla have only one win this season but always find a way to score. José Luis Mendilibar's side has scored at least once in all five games played so far this season. A bet on ''BTTS -Yes'' was a win in four of those games.

Sevilla boss José Luis Mendilibar is not expected to make wholesale changes to the XI which secured the first win of the season last weekend.
Sergio Ramos returned to the club for the first time since 2005, played 90 minutes and will again be at the heart of the defence along with Loïc Badé.
Youssef En-Nesyri started on the bench, so will be hoping for a starting spot on Wednesday after scoring six goals in Europe last season.
Alfonso Pastor, Marcos Acuña, Marcão and Tanguy Nianzou will not be available due to injuries.

Lens will have to do without Jimmy Cabot, who is suffering from a long-term cruciate ligament injury, but otherwise coach Franck Haise has no other problems.
Loïs Openda was the visitors' figurehead in Ligue 1 last season, with the 23-year-old scoring 21 goals in 38 games.
Following his move to Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, either Florian Sotoca or Elye Wahi has led the line and both will compete for a place at the tip of the attack on Wednesday.
