  • Competition: Serie A
  • Date: 13th November 2022
  • Kickoff: 16:00 CET
  • Venue: Stadio Olimpico

After two straight winless games in Serie A, Roma will be looking to get back to winning ways against a team they have lost to just once in their last five meetings. Trailing fourth-placed Inter Milan by just one point, a win this weekend would keep the hosts' Champions League hopes alive. In the last few games José Mourinho's men have participated in, the main talking point has been how unentertaining they have been.

Given that the draw against Sassuolo in midweek was the fourth game in the last five to end with less than 2.5 goals, Sunday's game could play out similarly.

The visitors are in the top of the table and come into this game with a lot of confidence, having picked up nine points from their last four league games. However, considering that they have only picked up one win from their last five away games, a Torino win this weekend will come as a shock to many.

Roma vs Torino Betting Tips: Home win

Even though the hosts enter with little confidence, having lost their last two league games at this ground, the fact that they won seven of their last nine meetings with Torino will be a major boost.

And since none of the last fourteen meetings between these two teams ended in a draw, a home win is the most likely result of Sunday's match.

  • Best Tip: Home win
  • Roma vs Torino prediction: 2-0

Roma Team News

Roma will once again have to do without their captain Lorenzo Pellegrini, who missed the draw against Sassuolo due to a thigh injury he suffered against Lazio last weekend.

Rick Karsdorp and Tammy Abraham were initially on the bench in the draw in midweek, but the two should be back in the starting eleven this weekend.

Argentine professional Paulo Dybala is said to have returned to training after his thigh injury. So it would be no surprise if José Mourinho gives the 28-year-old some minutes this weekend.

Torino Team News

Torino will have to do without central defender Perr Schuurs, who suffered a shoulder injury in the 2-0 win over Sampdoria in midweek.

The Dutch defender was forced to leave the pitch after just 20 minutes after being fouled by Amione.

His absence means that Alessandro Buongiorno, who replaced him in that game, will be in the starting eleven this weekend.

Other injury concerns for the visitors include full-back Ola Aina (tendon injury), striker Antonio Sanabria (calf strain) and Pietro Pellegri (ankle injury).
