Following a remarkable fight-back at Milan, Roma look to continue their Coppa Italia run as they host Serie B side Genoa at the Stadio Olimpico.
Outplayed for much of the 90 minutes, Jose Mourinho´s side somehow claimed a point at the San Siro with late goals from Tammy Abraham and Roger Ibanez enough to secure an unlikely 2:2 draw.
Now back on home soil, Roma will be expected to take care of business against a Genoa side currently third in Italy´s second tier.
Roma vs Genoa Betting Tips: Roma and under 3.5 goals
Roma have been something of a mixed bag this season, and their recent form has been disappointing, having lost three of their last six - all by the same 1:0 scoreline - against Atalanta, Napoli and Lazio.
Eliminated by Inter in last year´s edition of this competition, Roma suffered a shock loss to Spezia in their last home Coppa Italia tie back in 2021.
Visiting Genoa arrives in Rome, having picked up form lately with three wins and a draw from their last four league matches. The Genoans had failed to win any of their previous five league outings.
On the road, Genoa ended a four-game winless streak with a victory at Bari last time out however, a trip to Rome very much represents a tougher scale of task for Alberto Gillardino´s side.
Indeed, while Genoa did claim a draw in two of their three previous away games against Roma, their record in this fixture is terrible, having lost each of the previous 14 since 1994.
Ultimately, it´s hard to see past a home victory here but given their lacklustre form, it probably won´t be a high-scoring or dominant win for the hosts. As such, the under 3.5 goal line should hold with a home victory.
