Racing Santander, once a powerful and stable member of the strongest tier of Spanish football, is going through difficult times in recent years. However, they will not have an easy task, as they are 10 points behind the play-off positions.

The thing that most characterizes the meetings between Racing Santander and Huesca is poor efficiency and frequent goal scoring droughts. In five occasions so far, the mentioned teams measured their strengths, and the nets shaken only six times in that, which gives an average of 1.2 goals per game.

However, they are not overly effective in attack, 27 hits, of which only 9 on the road, which gives a rather low average.

Santander won Huesca at their "El Sardinero" both times so far with 1-0, and we are of the opinion that nothing will change in that view this time either. Especially if we consider that Huesca's defensive bedem is difficult to break through, with four of the last five visits ended under 2.5 goals. Defensive football is on the cards!
