Without a win in five matches, Newcastle will be desperate to return to winning ways when they host Wolves at St. James' Park.

Having suffered another painful cup final loss, Newcastle have also endured something of a poor run of form in the PL, with the hosts now dropping to sixth and eight points behind third-placed Man Utd, albeit with a game in hand.

With those numbers in mind, we have to expect a low-scoring contest, and the under 2.5 goal pick looks the safest option, with neither side reliable enough in the WDW market or, indeed, in the goal-scoring departments.

Indeed, six of the last seven meetings between these sides also saw under 2.5 goals scored, with five of those matches finishing as a 1:1 draw. A similar outcome could well occur on Sunday.
