Germany U17 will be looking to make it two wins from two when they take on New Zealand U17 in a Group F clash at the FIFA U17 World Cup.

New Zealand´s hopes of progressing to the next phase suffered a major setback after a 3:0 loss against Venezuela on Sunday. Despite competing well for much of the match, the Kiwis conceded twice in the dying minutes to give the Venezuelans a flattering 3:0 victory.

Prior to this competition, New Zealand had enjoyed a strong six-game winning run, albeit against lesser opposition. Now at the world´s biggest stage, the Kiwis face a massive test of their credentials against a strong-looking German side.

While New Zealand began the competition with defeat, Germany got their tournament off and running with an excellent 3:1 win against Mexico. That victory extended the Germans' unbeaten run to ten matches since May. 

A high-scoring side, Germany have scored at least three goals in eight of their last 12 matches and I expect them to achieve something similar on Wednesday.

Indeed, given their greater levels of experience at a higher level, Die Mannschaft should prove far too strong for the All Whites who are likely to prove overwhelmed against superior opponents.

As such, I´m backing Germany to win with at least three goals scored in a straightforward victory at Stadion Si Jalak Harupat.
