Monza welcomes Cremonse to the U-Power Stadium on Saturday, with the visitors still some 12 points short of Serie A safety.

The hosts have no such problems, though, with Roberto Palladino´s side currently 12th in the division following their 2:1 win against Empoli last weekend.

While Cremonese´s relegation to Serie B has looked like an inevitability for much of the season, Head Coach Davide Ballardini has inspired some improvements with the visitors finally ending their winless run against Roma in February. Cremonese had failed to win any of their first 23 matches.

However, that win over Roma has been followed by another pair of defeats, and relegation remains likely with just 12 games left to recover a 12-point deficit.

Monza have enjoyed a brilliant debut season in Serie A. However, they have been a little inconsistent in recent weeks. Over their last 10 matches, tI Biancorossi have won four, lost three and drawn three. At the U-Power, their form is similarly up-and-down, although they have proven a tough side to beat with just two losses in their last ten, having lost their first three home games of the campaign. More recently, Monza have seen BTTS in four of their last five home games, with their only failure to score coming against Milan. A home win against Empoli last time out broke a four-game winless streak at the U-Power.

Visiting Cremonese have also seen goals at both ends occurring fairly regularly in recent weeks, with six of their last nine league matches seeing BTTS. On the road, La Cremo I Grigiorossi have seen the same outcome in eight of their last 11 Serie A matches.

With their recent improvements and Monza struggling for home wins, we´ll take a chance on BTTS, with Monza likely having enough to edge over the line in a keen and competitive Seria A fixture.

Monza won the last Serie A meeting between the side, claiming a 3-2 at Stadio Giovanni Zini in January, and we expect a similar kind of outcome with goals at both ends and Monza claiming the spoils once more.
