Last season, Mjallby had another solid season. They finished 9th on the table with 43 points from 30 played matches. For the next season, Mjallby's goal is to have another solid season where there will not be too much turbulence and the danger of relegation.

Mjallby should be on a similar level as they were last season. One of the essential signings is forward Alexander Johansson. He scored only six goals for Varbergs the previous season, but in four Svenska Cupen games, Johansson scored four goals, so he will have a prominent role in his new club. The other notable signings are Tom Pettersson and Colin Rosler, two center-backs who came from Lillestrom.
The most important departure is for sure leaving of talented goalkeeper Samuel Brolin. His replacement in the new season should be Noel Tornqvist, who is only 21 years old but showed a remarkable level in Svenska Cupen matches.
