Milan faces a must-not-lose Champions League contest when they take on PSG at the San Siro on Wednesday.

Currently sitting bottom of Group F with two points collected from three matches, Milan come into this fixture knowing a win is surely required to kick-start their qualification hopes. 

Having picked up two points in back-to-back goalless draws against Newcastle and Dortmund, Milan then fell to a 3:0 loss in Paris, to leave them fourth in the group and still searching for their first goal. The Rosoneri have now failed to win or score any of their last five Champions League fixtures. At the San Siro, Pioli´s men have only managed to win four of their last ten home UCL games (W4, D2, L4).

Milan´s recent form offers little encouragement though after a shock 1:0 defeat at home to Udinese on Saturday. Stefano Pioli´s side have now lost three of their last four matches while failing to score in all three matches.

PSG arrives in Italy in far better form after picking up their fifth successive victory against Montpellier (3:0) this past weekend. Luis Enrique´s side have scored exactly three goals in their last five wins since a 4:1 defeat at Newcastle on matchday two. 

However, the Parisiens have a pretty poor road record in the UCL in recent years. PSG have lost five and won just two of their last ten road UCL matches since 2021. Eight of their previous nine away from Paris also saw BTTS.

A tough match to call considering both sides' relative fallibilities, I fancy BTTS and PSG to pick up the win on Wednesday. The visitors should use their positive form to get at a vulnerable home side that has failed to produce their top form this season. However, Milan can score with the French champions failing to keep an away UCL clean sheet in any of their last 14 matches.
