Levante vs Celta Vigo prediction 02.11.2025 | La Liga

Levante return to La Liga action after a thrilling 4:3 win against Orihuela in the Copa del Rey earlier this week. Carlos Espi bagged twice, including a stoppage-time winner that extended the hosts unbeaten run to two matches. 

A mixed run of form since their return to Spain's top flight has seen Julián Fernández's men win two but lose five of ten La Liga games this season. The hosts picked up a 1:1 draw against Mallorca in their most recent league runout after a 3:0 home reversal against Rayo two weeks ago.

Defensively vulnerable, the Valencia-based side have conceded at least one goal in all but two of 11 games played this season. Five of their last seven games have seen both teams score, and a similar outcome should be expected this weekend. 

Head coach Fernández has a few injury issues to deal with this weekend. Iván Romero is sidelined and not expected back until mid-November. While Diego Pampín, Pablo Martínez and Oriol Rey face late fitness tests.

Celta makes the trip to Valencia with plenty of confidence after securing a Copa del Rey road victory earlier this week. Óscar Marcos was on the scoresheet as Claudio Giráldez's side secured a 2:0 win at Puerto de Vega CF.

A fine run of form has seen Celta win each of their last three matches, while they remain unbeaten in six games played since 2:1 defeat at Elche in September. However, La Liga wins have been hard to come by with the visitors unable to turn draws into victories. Celta were held to stalemates in seven of ten games played this season (W1, D7, L2).

One of the most reliable choices for BTTS fans, only one of the visitors' last 13 games did not finish with both teams on the scoresheet. Seven of nine previous meetings between these sides also finished with the same outcome, and a repeat seems likely this weekend.

Head coach Giráldez is likely to revert to the same side that claimed an excellent 3:2 win at Osasuna last weekend. Williot Swedberg faces a late fitness test while Javi Rueda is ruled out for the next few weeks. Carl Starfelt returns from suspension and could make a return to the first XI.
