KFUM vs Rosenborg prediction 25.05.2026 | Eliteserien

KFUM return to Oslo after a hard-fought 2:1 defeat at SK Brann last weekend. Bilal Njie’s second-half strike proved consolation only for Thomas Holm’s side. 

The Kaffa have made a poor start to the Eliteserien season, winning just two of nine fixtures since mid-March. Both of those wins came at the KFUM Arena.

While the hosts have won just one of their last four matches, past encounters against Rosenborg should offer optimism on Monday. KFUM secured victories in three of four previous meetings, including both previous matchups at his venue. 

Coming into this fixture, the Oslo-based side sit 14th in the 16-team Eliteserien, ahead of Rosenborg on goal difference. 

Head coach Holm will be forced into at least one alteration to his first XI on Monday.  Fredrik Tobias Berglie misses out after being sent off in the defeat against Brann. 

Rosenborg make the trip to Oslo looking to bounce back from a 3:2 home defeat against Aalesund last time out. 

Amin Chiakha opened the scoring for Alexander Tettey’s side but the Troll Children were again undone through poor defending as Endre Hjertager Osenbroch’s late goal secured the points for the visitors. 

A disappointing start to the Eliteserien campaign has seen Rosenborg fail to win seven of their first nine league fixtures. Particularly poor on the road, Tettey’s men secured just one point from four away fixtures.

Head coach Tettey has no reported injury issues ahead of Monday’s matchup. Jonas Mortensen could drop out of the first XI after he was withdrawn at the interval against Aalesund.
