An exciting game awaits us this weekend when Kazakhstan and Northern Ireland who are separated by just six points in Group H face each other.
Kazakhstan got off to a bad start in their qualifying campaign for the upcoming 2024 EURO in Germany (2-1 defeat to Slovenia). That defeat proved to be a good wake-up call as ''The Hawks'' responded with a three-game winning streak. Magomed Adiyev's men had their eyes set on another win against Finland in midweek but things didn't go as planned with the nation losing 1-0 at home.
Northern Ireland meanwhile started the competition brightly with a comfortable 2-0 win over San Marino. Since then, the Green and White Army have been far from their best, losing four games in a row and face another difficult opponent in Kazakhstan this weekend.
Kazakhstan vs Northern Ireland Betting Tips: Under 2.5 goals
Kazakhstan have shown their defensive capabilities in recent matches. The Hawks conceded only one goal in their last three EURO 2024 qualifiers. In each of the last two matches, a bet on "under 2.5 goals" was won.
Northern Ireland boast just one clean sheet in their five Group H games so far. However, they rarely concede many goals. The defeat to Slovenia in midweek was the first time in five games that Northern Ireland conceded ''over 1.5 goals'' in a match. Four of those games ended with two goals or fewer which is another reason to expect a close game.
- Best Tip: Under 2.5 goals

Kazakhstan team news
Kazakhstan Magomed Adiyev is expected to make at least one change to the side that started the defeat to Finland last time out.
Abat Aimbetov lasted only 45 minutes in that game before being replaced, so the forward will be among those who could be demoted to the bench this weekend.
Vladislav Prokopenko is yet to make his debut but the young striker will once again be on the bench.

Northern Ireland team news
Ciaron Brown was forced off after just 20 minutes into that game due to ankle injury and Northern Ireland’s game this weekend will come too soon for him.
His replacement Craig Cathcart also hobbled off late on with a groin problem, so he is a doubt for this weekend’s game.
Experienced centre back Jonny Evans scored his seventh goal for Nothern Ireland last time out and will again keep his place at the heart of the defence.
