Ivory Coast come into matchday two after a nervy 1:0 win against Mozambique on Wednesday. Amad Diallo scored the only goal as the Ivorians claimed a vital victory at Grand Stade de Marrakech.

Emerse Faé's men have enjoyed a strong run of results heading into this competition. Ivory Coast won five and lost just one of eight games played since mid-June. 

Defensively strong, the Ivorians have conceded only one goal in their last eight games, and just two in their previous 12. The Elephants kept clean sheets in ten of those fixtures. 

Head coach Faé has no new injury issues heading into Sunday's Group F contest. Aston Villa forward Evan Guessand is available but unlikely to break into the Ivorian first XI. 

Cameroon come into Sunday's AFCON Group F fixture after a similarly hard-fought 1:0 win against Gabon on Wednesday. Etta Eyon's early goal proved the difference at Stade Adrar.

David Pagou's side have been a little less consistent in their performances this year, while they failed to qualify for the World Cup after a playoff defeat against DR Congo in November. The Indomitable Lions won three and lost two of their last eight fixtures.

Like the Ivorians, Cameroon are usually strong in the defensive areas. Pagou's men conceded only three goals in their last eight matches, with clean sheets kept in three of their four most recent fixtures.

Head coach Pagou could make one or two changes to his first XI on Sunday. Carlos Baleba could miss out after he was withdrawn after just 45 minutes of Wednesday's win against Gabon. Jean Onana stands by to replace the Brighton midfielder.
