Hull City slightly improved compared to last season. They are in 15th place, 14 points above the relegation zone, and 11 points away from the playoffs. It is unreal to expect them to move drastically up or down in the last ten rounds of the Championship.
The Tigers weren't great in the last five rounds and won only five points. They mainly played against teams from the upper half of the league's table, and it was evident they struggled to create goal-scoring chances. Hull City scored five goals in five matches but will have the difficult task of scoring against the best defensive team in the Championship.
Burnley are having an excellent season so far. They are 1st with 80 points, 13 more than the second-placed Sheffield United. After only one season in the Championship, Burnley are on their way to an instant return to the Premier League. In addition, after winning 1:0 against Fleetwood, Burnely advanced to the 1/4 finals of the FA Cup and are scheduled to play against Manchester City.
This season, Burnley have been spectacular, especially in the second part of the season. Currently, they are on a 17-game unbeaten run, and in the last four games, they haven't allowed a single goal.
Hull City vs Burnley pick: Under 2.5 goals
Hull City were six times under 2.5 goals in the previous seven games before this game. During the last four home games, they were excellent defensively and haven't conceded a single goal.
Burnley were only six times over 2.5 goals in 17 road games in Championship. In the last five road matches, they were just once over 2.5 goals and allowed only one goal.
We have seen two goals in the first h2h match this season.

After a 1:1 draw with Coventry, Hull's coach Liam Rosenior said it was an enjoyable game but was frustrated for not winning all three points. He also said they defended the box very well, which has been the case for a long time.
Goalkeeper Karl Darlow will start his fourth game since Matt Ingram, and Nathan Baxter are injured. In the first three games, he showed he is a capable replacement.
Starting right fullback Cyrus Christie missed two games in a row, and Lewie Coyle could start as his replacement.
Ryan Woods and Aaron Connolly are also injured and will miss the Burnley game.
