Hoffenheim are not playing well this season. They are only three points above the relegation zone playoff. Hoffenheim lost the last four league games in a row. In the first match after the break, they lost 3-1 on the road against Union Berlin. Hoffenheim played well in the first half, as they had a 1-0 lead. In the second half, the home side dominated and scored three times, so the guests suffered another defeat.

A much safer option should be over 2.5 goals, especially because of Stuttgart's bad defense away from home. On the other hand, most Hoffenheim games recently finished with at least three goals.
