Hacken had a historic year last season when they won their first Allsvenskan title in the club's history. This year, they started the season with 19 points from ten matches. They have been great offensively with 25 scored goals (the most in the league), but 17 of those came at their home pitch. On the road, they were not even remotely as good.
Goteborg have been primarily a mid-table team in the previous six seasons. They had one Europa League appearance but qualified by winning the Cup, not via a league finish. This year, they started slowly, with only seven points from nine matches. At the moment, they are just one point away from the relegation zone. Also, they had a poor run in the Cup too, where they finished third in the group with Norrkoping, GAIS, and Utsitken.
Hacken vs Goteborg pick: Hacken to win and cover the -1.5 AH spread
Hacken won 12 of 16 games this season in all competitions. In 11 of 12 of those wins, Hacken won by two or more goal difference.
At home, Hacken have been simply fantastic, with eight wins in nine games. In the last three home matches, they won vs Varnamo, Djurgarden, and Degerfors with 13 goals scored - 4.33 per game!
Goteborg are nowhere as good as Hacken at the moment. They won just two of 12 games in all competitions. On the road, their statistics are even worse. In the league, they played only four matches and won two points. In three of those four matches, they failed to score a goal.
Hacken won the last h2h game by 4:0 on the road.
