Gibraltar vs Montenegro prediction 14.11.2025 | World Cup Qualifiers

Gibraltar are one of the worst national teams in the world, currently ranked 200th out of 211 teams in the FIFA World Ranking List. They are also currently the third-worst team in Europe, only above San Marino and Liechtenstein. So, expectedly, they are a team that has never reached the World Cup or the Euro and that will hardly change. In these Qualifiers, Gibraltar are without a single point in six rounds while scoring only two goals - 0.33 per game. 

In recent days, coach Scott Wiseman revealed his squad for the upcoming two games vs Montenegro and the Czech Republic. According to the domestic media reports, the coach could use the exact same starting lineup from the last match vs Croatia (3:0 loss). 

Montenegro are also one of the teams that have never reached any major competition in their brief history as a sovereign state. Before these Qualifiers, Montenegro did a really poor job in UEFA Nations League B, where they got relegated from the group with Wales, Turkey, and Iceland. It was apparent they do not belong in the same tier with these teams, and League C is probably where they belong. 

Before the duels against Gibraltar and Croatia, coach Mirko Vucinic held a press conference and spoke to the media. He said he wants to improve the impression of these Qualifiers with two good games. The coach did not want to speak about the job security but focused on the upcoming games. He said Adam Marusic and Marko Jankovic will make a return, while captain Stevan Jovetic will miss the Gibraltar game and join the team for Croatia.
