Following a narrow 1:0 loss against Juventus in the Europa League, Freiburg returns to Bundesliga action when they host relegation-threatened Hoffenheim at Europa-Park Stadion.

Currently fifth in the division with only 11 games remaining, Freiburg finds themselves just two points outside of the CL qualification places and only seven points behind joint leaders Bayern and Dortmund.
