Fleetwood Town are playing their tenth consecutive season in League One. Still, they are not looking like a team that will soon move to the Championship. In the last season, they finished 13th, but this season, they had a terrible start and are currently in 23rd place with only one point in six games. 

Tranmere were relegated from League One in the 2019/20 season, and in the following seasons in League Two (fourth tier), their results are constantly decreasing. Last season, Superwhites were 12th in League Two, but similarly to Fleetwood, they had a very bad start to the current season. At the moment, they are 21st with just three points in six matches.

Both teams had a terrible start to the season. Fleetwood lost six of seven games, while Tranmere lost six of eight matches. Still, Fleetwood faced much better competition as they are playing in a higher tier. 

At home this season, Fleetwood played two games and lost both, but they weren't as bad as the result suggests. In the last match, they lost 1:0 vs Shrewsbury but were much better despite having a player less in for more than a half. We think they are not as bad as their results show, and this game could be the perfect opportunity to finally break their poor streak. 

Tranmere are a terrible road team. They won just twice in the last 14 games (in this and previous seasons combined). Also, in the last two games, Tranmere were totally dominated by Leicester (in the EFL Cup) and by Wrexham in the league and failed to score. 

Fleetwood and Tranmere played only one h2h game at Highbury Stadium, with Fleetwood winning 2:1. We expect the same outcome, but considering both teams are in poor goalscoring form, we could see a low-scoring match this time.
