After a 1:1 draw with Torino, coach Vicenzo Italiano spoke to the media. He said they tried to spare some players because they are tired from playing too many games. He also said they had problems finding the best rotations at the start of the season but is convinced they "figured it out."

After a 3:1 loss to Napoli, coach Simoke Inzagi spoke to the media. He said they made a mistake and received a red card which cost them the points. "It's too bad for the loss, which slows down our pursuit of Champions League qualification," he added.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan suffered a thigh injury against AC Milan and had to be substituted after 43 minutes. He will miss the Fiorentina game.
