England are one of the best teams in the world and they are one of the main favorites for the EURO 2024 title next year. England have two more games to play in the qualifications, but they already secured a place in the tournament after Gareth Southgate's team collected 16 points from six matches. England won seven of the last eight games, including friendlies. In the previous match, they won 3-1 at home against Italy. Guests played well at the start of the game, so they took the lead in the 15th  minute. Still, the home side were much better in the rest of the match, so Southgate's team picked up all three points. 

Malta are one of the weakest  European teams and certainly the weakest team of this group. If they lose against England, and that will likely happen, Malta will finish qualifications with all defeats. Their only two wins this year came in friendlies against Luxembourg and Gibraltar. In the previous game, Malta lost 3-1 at home against Ukraine. The home side took the lead already in the 12th minute, but actually, the guests were a much better side, so Ukrainians deserved to take all three points.

England scored 19 goals in the last six matches. Also, four of those six games went over 3.5 goals. On the other hand, Malta allowed seven goals in the last two matches. Over 3.5 goals should be the best bet for this tie.
