Before the start of the season, pundits expected Dinamo Tbilisi to win another title in the Georgian national league. Still, at the half of the season, they are not even near that, as Dinamo Tbilisi are trailing eight points behind the league leader, Dinamo Batumi. 

Dinamo Tbilisi are by far the best Georgian team in history, with 19 league titles. Also, they have the most expensive team in the competition, but something is not right with the team this year. 

Last season, Samtredia played in the second level of Georgian football, so realistically, their only real goal in the current season is to avoid relegation. At the half of the season, they have a lot of problems. Samtredia are constantly in the relegation zone, so they should be the strongest relegation candidate with Telavi and Shukura.

Dinamo Tbilisi won only nine of 18 league matches, but most of their problems came from their bad defense. So far, they have allowed 28 goals. On the other side, Dinamo Tbilisi are magnificent offensively, with 41 goals. Their last six games went over 2.5 goals.

Samtredia are even worse defensively than Dinamo Tbilisi. Actually, only two teams are worse than them. The problem with our tip is that we can not expect Samtredia to score too much, but even they should have some chances offensively against the poor Dinamo Tbilisi defense.
