Derby County vs Crewe Alexandra Betting Tips - Over 2.5 goals 

The stage is set for an exciting FA Cup encounter after an entertaining 2-2 draw in Crewe last week. 

Derby County comes into this clash on a high note, having triumphed 4-1 over Wolves U21 in their opening EFL Trophy group stage match. The Rams are now undefeated in their last four games in all competitions while they have lost just one of their last six (W4, D1, L1)

Paul Warne´s men have been in excellent scoring form, with 16 goals scored in those six previous runouts.  

The hosts had a strong record at home in domestic cup contests last season, with four wins and two losses in six matches at Pride Park. However, League Two visitors Crewe struggled away from Mornflake Stadium, having failed to win any of three away cup ties last year.

Both teams have seen plenty of goals in recent weeks, and another high-scoring contest seems likely on Tuesday. Derby have seen over 2.5 goals scored in each of their last five matches while Crewe have seen the same outcome in five of their last six on the road. 

Ultimately, while the Rams should be confident of getting the job done, the FA Cup is an often unpredictable competition and goals should be the preferred betting angle. With that in mind, I´m taking over 2.5 goals as my primary selection for what should prove another entertaining cup clash.
