Deportivo Maldonado vs Montevideo Wanderers prediction 15.11.2023

Deportivo finished the first part of the season (Apertura) 8th, but they were far from impressive and much closer to the bottom of the league than the top. In Clausura, they are even worse, as they are only three points away from the last-placed Cerro Largo. Their highlight of the season is surely in the Cup, where they reached the 1/8 Finals but were super lucky as their opponent (Central San Jose) received two red cards. Maldonado couldn't secure a win in regular time and won after a penalty shootout. It is evident they are in poor form, and it doesn't seem it will soon change.

They finished 6th in Apertura and now struggle in Calasura as they are in 15th place, one point away from the last spot. They also secured 1/8 Finals in the Cup, but after a penalty shootout as well, against a Segunda Division team - Miramar.
