The last and first placed nations in Group A of Euro 2024 qualifying meet at the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium in Kolossi on Thursday evening as Cyprus play host to Spain. Cyprus will be seeking revenge against La Roja after they lost 6:0 in the reverse fixture held in Granada two months ago.
The hosts have had a disastrous qualifying campaign this time round. They are in last place in Group A and are the only nation without a single point in the group. For Temur Ketsbaia's side, all that remains is to avoid finishing a European Championship qualifying campaign without a single point for the first time since 1976.
Spain responded well after losing 0:2 to Scotland on the second matchday of qualifying for Euro 2024. Luis de la Fuente's side enter Thursday's game with a run of four consecutive wins in 2024 European Championship qualifying, and scored sixteen goals in the process. Ranked sixth in the FIFA rankings, Spain have qualified for the European Championship for the eighth time in a row thanks to this run.
Cyprus vs Spain Betting Tips: Over 3.5 goals
Cyprus' defence has been all over the place in recent months. The Whites and Blues enter this week's game on a run of eleven consecutive games without keeping a clean sheet. Temur Ketsbaia's side conceded at least two goals in all eleven games played during this period, with only four games conceding fewer than 3.5 goals.
Spain are capable of scoring plenty of goals and the Red Fury proved that on matchdays 5 and 6, when they scored seven and six goals respectively. Luis de la Fuente's side also scored six goals in their last meeting with Cyprus.
- Best Tip: Over 3.5 goals

Peterborough United defender Hector Kyprianou played his first two international matches during the October international break and the 22-year-old could retain his place in the back three alongside Andreas Karo and Alex Gogic.
Grigoris Kastanos and Minas Antoniou are the most likely duo to start in a two-man forward line, while Charalampos Charalampous will hope to play in midfield.
