In recent years, Club Brugge "manages" the Jupiler Pro League. They have won the Belgian title in each of the previous three consecutive seasons, but it seems that their "reign" has come to an end, primarily due to their disastrous results this season. The popular "The Farmers" have forgotten what a victory looks like, since they achieved the last one back in October (4-2 vs Oostende). The bad results have led to the fact that they are already behind by a huge 19 points behind the current leader, so they need a real miracle to catch up to Genk and defend the title by the end of the season.
Meanwhile, Charleroi can be described in just two words. Average team. Last season, they finished the regular part in sixth position, and by all accounts, that will most likely be their maximum this season as well. The impression is that the break due to the World Cup in Qatar suited Felice Mazzu's team quite well. They enter this duel after grabbing seven points from the last three games, which is why they advanced by two places and currently occupy the 10th position in the table, where only four points separate them from the places that lead in the playoff zone.
Club Brugge vs Charleroi Betting Tips: AH1 (-1)
Despite the big result problems lately, Club Brugge has every right to hope for victory in this match. They tied three wins in a row against Charleroi, including a routine 3-1 triumph in the first clash of the season.
The club from the capital of Belgium, which in this year's edition of the group stage of the UEFA Champions League gave football classes and lessons to Bayer Leverkusen (1-0), Porto (4-0) and Atletico from Madrid (2-0), became "easy prey" in the domestic "backyard" even much weaker than them.
Slowly, but surely, the fans make peace with the fact that defending the title is practically an impossible mission. Even the change of coach (Scott Parker) did not bring the desired effect, so the agony of the blue-blacks continues.
In the last round, mid-week, Club Brugge drew with St. Truiden away (1-1), thus extending the streak without a win to nine competitive games (counting the regular 90). From the same team, they experienced a debacle a month ago, losing convincingly (1-4), where they ended participation in the Belgian Cup.
Charleroi, meanwhile, seems to have found the desired rhythm in recent weeks. However, just one triumph from their previous five away games, during which they conceded 11 goals, means their chances of getting a positive result against reigning champions Belgium are minimal.
No one yet knows what the main reason for the sudden drop in form is, but one thing is certain. If any club has the potential to totally turn the season around in their favor, it's Club Brugge. We expect the capital club to dominate for the full 90 minutes, record the long-awaited victory (the first since Scott Parker took over them) finally make their fans happy. The difference in quality is heaven and earth, so we expect a routine triumph of the hosts.

Charleroi Team News
Meanwhile, Felice Mazzu will have much bigger personnel problems compared to his colleague, as he still cannot count on the injured Nadir Benbouali, Jules Van Cleemput and Loic Bessile.
Center-back Stefan Knezevic is back in full training after a long absence due to a knee injury. In mid-week, he was on the bench in the match against Gent, and he could record a few minutes on Sunday.
